This place was incredible. Our sandwiches were great and the lovely ladies that work there were friendly and welcoming.

Hi, I've always loved this place since the day it opened but today I went there after about a six-month hiatus and although the food was still excellent, I noticed a few changes and I wanted to mention them. I got the Cuban, my standard, but the portion was much smaller and I noticed upon ordering the price had gone up. When I got my food I was expecting the big nice sandwich it used to be which would explain the pricing increase to 8.50, but I was disappointed to find it was much smaller. It was still delicious but instead of making two meals, now just one. There were no lemons for the ice tea, a southern standard and there was sort of a grumpy guy working the counter. There's always several older man just sitting around in there hanging out but I've never seen one working the counter before which was another disappointment. A new customer came in and asked the man behind the counter how was the pasta salad, and his answer was I don't know I don't eat it. Wow. Really. So me being my helpful self, told the guy the pasta salad was excellent, which it is.. So I'm not complaining about the food taste and quality, I'm more complaining about the atmosphere changes in the portion sizes. If you've never gone there from the beginning, you wouldn't even know and you would probably love this place........ as I used to.

The employee was extremely rude. They closed at 1:00 and decide they were done for the day.

Best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Light fluffy eggs, fresh salsa, cheese, in a warm burrito. Good iced coffee.

I was on the road traveling and was tight on time. I swung through to try this place. It's in a great little center of town. The area seemed fun and I wish I had more time to explore. The cafe had some great outdoor seating. Everyone there said to try the Ruben sandwich, so I did. Inside the cafe there was a cool atmosphere, the women at the counter had some great tattoos and the paint inside even had a neat vibe. And then BOOM here comes the food! Excellent meaty hot brilliant sandwichs. Both my wife and had had a great meal for about $20 bucks! I wish this place was in my backyard, I'd be here every time I got hungry!

Lunch yesterday was great! I took everyone's advice and got the turkey and cranberry sandwich with pasta salad. Super friendly people and a great food. I'm really surprised to see someone complaining about the portions and prices, maybe they just need to stick to Golden Corral. After reading the other reviews, I'm definitely coming back for a breakfast burrito!

This place is great! We had the Turkey Cranberry sandwich on the croissant with the spicy jalapeño cream cheese. The turkey was incredibly fresh. Will definitely be back.

The Boy and I stopped at this converted old gas station on VD after we spent the day poking around the shops in High Springs. They were about to close since traffic had slowed, but they took our order. I decided on the egg salad and the Boy ordered his fave, a club. The egg salad is made to order, so I got mine without pickles and requested toasted bread. The sandwiches were priced low, but came without anything extra, such as chips. My egg salad was about six bucks and change, and the Boy's club was about seven. The sandwiches were HUGE. Both were stuffed with their fillings. The egg salad was creamy without being too full of mayo. There was a touch of mustard to give it some zip. It was chopped up nicely and served on lightly toasted bread with green leaf lettuce. I could not finish my full sandwich it was so big. Forget the chips! The Boy loved his club. It was loaded with turkey and bacon and chicken, had his choice of cheese and was nicely seasoned. He barely made a sound as he wolfed it down. True Blue will be a repeat visit . I want to try the BLT and perhaps go back and try their black beans. They also offer veggie sandwiches and gluten free options.

Small cafe with freshly made sandwiches! Very friendly, great music on the radio, a few tables inside & out. The side of pasta salad is awesome! Everything is made fresh! They get a lot of the produce from the local farmer's market. The sandwiches are stacked with lots of meat. Lots of customers are take-outs.

The best lunch spot in high springs! True blue has a friendly staff...owned by two women...who enjoy sitting with their regulars as well as making friends with new customers. From what I hear they do a lot of community service and are very active in their church. Their sandwiches are piled high and their prices are very fare. There are other lunch spots in town who have tried to copy their menu but cant match their flavor and style.

Excellent caprese sandwich! Fresh basil and mozzarella! Great first time! My aunt loves their turkey and cranberry sandwich. There is a small seating area inside but don't be deceived because there is plenty of outdoor seating.

Stopped by here with my parents while on our way to the Santa Fe river for some kayaking, and (foolishly) weren't expecting much based on the outside. We got the BLT and turkey & cranberry sandwiches and they were both amazing. The bacon was thick and crispy and the tomatoes were really ripe and delicious on the BLT. My parents both said it was one of the best BLTs they've ever had. The turkey and cranberry sandwich was stacked high with good quality turkey (not that weird slimy lunch meat I've sometimes encountered) and I added their homemade jalapeño cream cheese that made it a little spicy. Definitely would make a point to come back next time I'm in high springs.

True Blue Café is a small restaurant in downtown High Springs serving breakfast and lunch. They have both a small interior dining area and about as much room outside but also seem to do a healthy take-away business. The lunch menu is pretty limited to standard sandwiches such as Cubans, BLTs, and the like but the Cuban I had was perfectly good though not exceptional or innovative in any sense. Which is to say it's fine, good even, but there's no stand-out feature I can think to mention about it at all. The staff are very friendly and the regulars appear to love this place. I feel it's certainly worth trying, but just want to caution that we're talking about a very basic--though rather cute--lunch spot and not as formal a sit-down experience as Great Outdoors across the street. I would like to see them add to the menu really, but what they're doing is fine nonetheless. Quality I would say (and price) maybe a bit better value than The Station Café yet The Station has more variety plus ample dessert selections. It's exciting to see High Springs have so many options though now for lunch.

Best breakfast burrito possible! A nice surprise. Very small cafe but grab it for take out if no room to sit.
